Stir-Fried Egg Noodles (Mi Xao Mem)

This scrumptious dish with abundant egg noodles and veggies is a great go-to-dish when there’s a family gathering or potluck. If you know me, you know that this was the dish I went for first at any gathering. The best part is this dish can be served hot or cold and it's delicious either way. I typically serve this with soy sauce or vegetarian dipping sauce on the side so that everyone can adjust the seasoning to their preference.

Vietnamese Banana, Coconut, and Tapioca Pudding (Che Chuoi)

This light traditional Vietnamese banana, coconut, and tapioca pudding (che chuoi) was one of my favorite desserts growing up. It’s lightly sweetened and the cooked bananas add the perfect tang. I remember eating this until I couldn’t fit anymore in me. You can serve che chuoi warm or cold so it’s perfect for warming you up on cold mornings or giving you a refresh on a hot summer day!
