Pesto Pasta

Pesto pasta! Al-dente pasta tossed in garden-fresh homemade pesto. It's a simple yet delicious recipe that's perfect for a quick weeknight meal or a light summer dinner.

SERVES: 6
PREP TIME: 5 MINS COOK TIME: 10 MINS TOTAL TIME: 15 MINS

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces pasta
  • 2 cups basil
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.

  2. In a food processor, combine the basil, pine nuts, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.

  3. Add olive oil and Parmesan. Blend until smooth. Add more olive oil for a smoother pesto.

  4. Enjoy!
