These buttery egg and Parmesan noodles are great if you're in a pinch and want something quick, hearty, and tasty. It's made with pantry staples and comes together in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces noodles
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2-3 drops sesame oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Scallions, to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

  2. Add noodles and salt and cook according to package directions, until most of the water is absorbed.

  3. Turn off the heat and stir in the egg, letting it cook in the hot noodles.

  4. Add butter, Parmesan, lemon juice, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Garnish with scallions and serve.
