Chris's Cinnamon French Toast

Have yourself a lovely Sunday (or any day!) brunch with Chris’ Cinnamon French Toast. These french toasts are made with thick sliced bread, eggs, sugar, milk, and cinnamon. They’re sweet, filling, easy to make and really yummy!

PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 5 minutes TOTAL TIME: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • PAM cooking spray
  • 6 slices bread

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, sugar, and milk. Add milk slowly until mixture is an off-white yellow. 

  2. Add cinnamon. Continue mixing until smooth. There should be no egg chunks and cinnamon should be evenly distributed. 

  3. Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray. 

  4. Heat over medium high until hot. 

  5. Soak bread in mixture for 10 seconds per side. 

  6. Carefully remove bread and place on pan. The bread will be very soggy so handle it with care.

  7. Cover and cook on each side until golden, about 2 minutes. 

  8. Serve with powdered sugar, syrup, and fruit.
