These crazy good spicy dry rub grilled drumsticks will set your mouth on fire. Densely packed with flavor, heat, and spice, these drumsticks will make some of the spiciest foods around seem mild in comparison. No sauce is needed to make these drumsticks. Brown sugar complements the epic amounts of cayenne pepper used for these juicy drumsticks to create the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. If you love spicy foods, consider yourself warned, but you've got to try these super spicy, finger-lickin' good drumsticks!

PREP TIME: 30 MINS COOK TIME: 45 MINS TOTAL TIME: 1 HRS, 15 MINS

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 2 lbs drumsticks (8 drumsticks)

Pre-Grilling Dry Rub

  • 6 tablespoons cayenne pepper

  • 4 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 3 tablespoons paprika

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

Post - Grilling Dry Rub

  • 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, coat the drumsticks with olive oil.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the pre-grilling dry rub ingredients.

  3. Rub the drumsticks with the dry rub. Let sit for 30 minutes.

  4. In the same small bowl, mix together the post-grilling dry rub ingredients.

  5. Preheat the grill. Place drumsticks on grill and cook until the drumsticks are cooked through, about 45 minutes. Remove from the grill.

  6. Toss the drumsticks with dry rub and serve.
