If you haven’t tried pesto eggs yet, you’re missing out on one of the easiest ways to level up your breakfast. Just swap your usual cooking oil for a spoonful of pesto in the pan. Crack in your eggs, let them sizzle, and watch the edges turn beautifully crispy as they soak up all that basil-garlic goodness. Serve with toast and add your favorite toppings - they’re endlessly customizable and seriously satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoons pesto (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a small nonstick skillet over medium heat, add 1–2 tablespoons of pesto. Let it warm up and sizzle for about 30 seconds.

  2. Crack the eggs directly onto the pesto. Lower heat. Cook to your liking. The pesto will crisp around the edges and infuse the eggs with flavor.

  3. Serve with toast and your favorite toppings.
