Lemon, Asparagus, and Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 boneless chicken breasts, diced into 1-inch cubes
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 ounces angel hair pasta
1 and 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 bundle asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 lemon, zested and juiced
Instructions
In a medium pan over medium heat, add the olive oil. Add the chicken and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the chicken is opaque, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
Move the chicken to one side of the pan. Add the pasta, garlic, and chicken broth. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
When the pasta is partially cooked, add the asparagus and lower the heat to a simmer. Let simmer until the asparagus is cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir to combine
Add salt and pepper to taste, if necessary.
Serve immediately.
