Lemon Orzo with Parmesan and Peas
Orzo is good in soups but is also great for serving instead of rice or as a side dish. This lemon orzo with Parmesan and peas recipe is the perfect combination of lemony Parmesan goodness and can be paired with your favorite meat or veggie to create a meal or served all on its own.

Ingredients
1 cup orzo
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup frozen peas
Parmesan cheese, to garnish
Pepper, to garnish
Instructions
Add the orzo, vegetable oil, garlic powder, chicken broth, thyme leaves, lemon juice, and peas to a medium pan.
Bring to a boil.
Once the broth comes to a boil, continue to cook on low for the duration of time specified on orzo packaging, or until no broth remains. Stir occasionally.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese and pepper and serve.
