Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair Pasta

Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair Pasta

This shrimp scampi is made with tender pan-seared shrimp in an incredibly delicious, yet insanely simple, garlicky bath of butter, olive oil, and splashes of white wine and lemon juice. What more could you ask for?

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 pound shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1/8 cup white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Parsley, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. In a medium pan, heat the oil and one tablespoon butter. Add garlic and stir fry until fragrant, about 1 minute.
